About
I still remember the exact moment that sparked my love for photography. It was a cold, sunny February morning, and I was walking to the bus stop. The sun had just started to rise, casting this incredible pink light over the snow-capped mountains. It was quiet, calm, and completely breathtaking. I pulled out my phone to try and capture it, but it didn’t even come close to what I was seeing. That moment stuck with me — the feeling of wanting to hold on to a piece of beauty, but not quite being able to. That’s when I knew I needed something more. That’s what started it all.
Growing up in Alaska, I’ve always been surrounded by raw, untamed beauty. From black bears wandering the shoreline to whales surfacing just offshore, and eagles soaring above towering forests — these scenes are just everyday magic here. My photography is my way of freezing those fleeting moments and sharing a piece of this place with the world.
Over the years, my work has been featured in print and digital magazines and shown in galleries like PH21 in Budapest, Agora in New York, and FotoZA in Johannesburg. But what means the most to me is knowing that each photo tells a story — not just of a place, but of a moment that moved me enough to capture it.
Take a look around, explore the collection, and maybe find a piece of Alaska that speaks to you. I’m glad you’re here.
